Running a workplace flu program
For organisers: how onsite clinics work, booking clinic dates and getting staff booked in.
How Corporate Care workplace flu programs work
Corporate Care runs workplace flu programs three ways: onsite clinics at your sites, flu vouchers for staff to use at a pharmacy, or both. Price depends on volume and on Australia or New Zealand, so request a quote rather than guess. Onsite clinics Nurses come to your workplace. In Australia, every vaccinator we send is a Registered Nurse with HESA-accredited Nurse Immuniser training. In New Zealand, clinics are run by qualified local immunisation nurses. Staff book and consent online before the day. In our experience, around 35% of employees take up an onsite program. Flu vouchers Each employee uses your company promo code on FluVouchers.com.au to download a voucher, then books at a partner pharmacy near them with the voucher code. We have 2,000+ pharmacy partners across Australia and New Zealand. Vouchers suit remote staff, small sites, and people who miss the clinic day. To start, see Order flu vouchers for your staff. Both You can run clinics at larger sites and give vouchers to staff elsewhere. Onsite clinic steps 1. Request a quote. 2. Accept the quote, then complete form 1 (your company and sites) and form 2 (your preferred dates and times). 3. We propose dates, usually within 3 days in season (from March). Accept them and we send your staff booking URL and QR code to share. 4. Staff book and consent online, and the nurses run the clinics. 5. Staff who booked their onsite vaccination with us get their certificate by email. You can ask us for a report. See Reports and certificates after your flu program. Why run a program at all? Where we run workplace flu clinics
We run workplace flu clinics in every Australian state and territory, and in New Zealand. Site not listed? Ask anyway: request a quote and list your addresses. Australia - New South Wales and the ACT: Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, Canberra - Victoria: Melbourne, Geelong - Queensland: Brisbane and regional Queensland - Western Australia: Perth - South Australia: Adelaide - Tasmania: Hobart - Northern Territory: Darwin In Australia, every vaccinator we send is a Registered Nurse with HESA-accredited Nurse Immuniser training. New Zealand We cover Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin and other centres. Clinics are delivered by qualified local immunisation nurses. No clinic near some of your staff? Flu vouchers work at partner pharmacies in Australia and New Zealand, so staff at small or remote sites can still take part. Each employee picks the chain that suits them, and the voucher works at any participating store of that chain. You can combine clinics at larger sites with vouchers for everyone else. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
Book your workplace flu clinics
Once your quote is accepted, you complete two short online forms. We then propose clinic dates, and when the times are agreed we send the staff booking link and QR code for you to share. Haven't had a quote yet? Request one first. Steps 1. Accept your quote. 2. Complete form 1, sent to you when you accept: your company details and each office or site taking part. 3. Complete form 2, sent to your scheduling contact: the dates and times that suit each site. The forms are links we email you, not public pages. 4. We propose a date for each clinic based on your requests. In season (from March) this is usually within 3 days. Before March it can take longer, because we schedule around other confirmed jobs to keep nurse routes efficient. 5. Accept the proposed dates. 6. We send the staff booking URL and QR code. Share them with your staff. See Get your staff booked in for their flu shot. Good to know - Booking and consent are online, before the day, so staff bring nothing on the day. - Please avoid changing clinic times once they're agreed. We have jobs before and after, a gap means paying the nurse for idle time, and cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply depending on when you change. We try to avoid fees. To cancel or reschedule a clinic, email flu@corporatecare.com.au. We can only action it in writing. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
Get your staff booked in for their flu shot
Share your company's staff booking link or QR code. Staff pick a time and give consent online, and bring nothing on the day. We don't use paper sign-up. Share the link and QR code 1. Once the clinic times are agreed, we send you the staff booking URL and a QR code. See Book your workplace flu clinics. 2. Share both with staff. Put the QR code on a poster or screen for staff who aren't at a desk. A ready-made email is in Email templates to promote your flu clinic. 3. Staff choose a time and complete their consent online. They get a confirmation email with a link to reschedule or cancel. Walk-ins A nurse can vaccinate up to 32 people an hour. Staff without a booking can speak with the nurse on the day. The nurse sends them our consent form to complete on the spot, and the nurses carry extra vaccines and can generally fit them in, but there's no guarantee. Booking online beforehand is strongly recommended. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
What happens on flu clinic day
On clinic day a nurse sets up in a room at your site, vaccinates each person in about 2 minutes, and asks everyone to wait at least 15 minutes afterwards. Nothing to bring: booking and consent are done online beforehand. Who vaccinates In Australia, every vaccinator we send is a Registered Nurse with HESA-accredited Nurse Immuniser training. In New Zealand, clinics are run by qualified local immunisation nurses. The nurse also checks that each person is suitable for the vaccine on the day. If someone is not suitable, they are advised to see their GP. Before the day - Provide a private room with space for about four people, a table, two chairs and a bin. The nurse arrives 10 to 15 minutes early to set up and brings the vaccines, cold-chain kit, digital consent device, observation chairs and anaphylaxis kit. - Remind staff to wear clothing that gives easy access to the upper arm, and to arrive on time. - Tell staff to let the nurse know if they feel unwell on the day. On the day 1. The nurse arrives and sets up the room. 2. Staff arrive at their booked time. Each vaccination takes about 2 minutes. 3. Staff without a booking can speak with the nurse. Nurses carry extra vaccines and can generally fit them in, but there's no guarantee, so encourage everyone to book online. Everyone gives consent before their shot. Walk-ins consent on the nurse's digital device. 4. Everyone waits at least 15 minutes after their shot. This is when the nurse watches for any reaction, so staff shouldn't drive during that time. Staff can ask the nurse questions, and should tell the nurse if they feel unwell. 5. Staff who booked their onsite vaccination with us receive their certificate by email. See Reports and certificates after your flu program. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au. Sources: Australian Immunisation Handbook, after vaccination, last updated 30/09/2026: 15 minutes.
Reports and certificates after your flu program
Ask us for a report on your onsite clinics. Staff who booked their onsite vaccination with us get their flu vaccination certificate by email. Report for your organisation Email flu@corporatecare.com.au with your company name. The report shows the number of clinics, where they were held, and the number of vaccines given. Reports are becoming automatic, and a client portal showing current data is on the way. Until then, just ask. For voucher programs, see Get a flu voucher report for your organisation. Certificates for staff Staff who booked their onsite vaccination with us get their certificate by email. Walk-ins can ask the nurse. We don't send certificates for shots given at a pharmacy; staff ask the pharmacy. Send staff with questions to Get your flu vaccination certificate. In Australia, vaccinations are also reported to the Australian Immunisation Register. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
