Before you send
- Replace every [bracketed field]. Check the details again after pasting.
- Keep only the line that applies to your country where you see AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND options.
- Delete the "Can't make it?" section if you have nothing to offer people who miss the clinic.
- Delete the 65+ paragraph only if you have no staff in that age group.
- Send the announcement as soon as you have the booking link, then the reminder a few days before the clinic.
- Running a voucher program as well? Send staff their voucher promo code after the clinic, which helps onsite uptake. See Send your staff their flu voucher instructions.

Subject: Get your flu shot at work: [COMPANY NAME]
Hi everyone,
[COMPANY NAME] has partnered with Corporate Care to bring a flu vaccination clinic to our workplace, at no cost to you.
Why get vaccinated? Flu can put you out of action for days, and you can pass it to the people you live with.
When and where
- Room: [ROOM NAME]
- Location: [SITE DETAILS]
- Date: [DATE]
- Time: [TIME]
How to book
- Go to [BOOKING LINK] (or scan the QR code) and choose a time.
- Complete your consent form online. There is nothing to bring on the day.
- Arrive on time for your slot. Slots are limited, so book early if you want a particular time.
Wear clothing that gives easy access to your upper arm. Please stay for at least 15 minutes afterwards so the nurse can watch for any reaction, and don't drive during that time. If you feel unwell on the day, tell the nurse.
[AUSTRALIA: Your vaccinator is a Registered Nurse with HESA-accredited Nurse Immuniser training.] [NEW ZEALAND: Your vaccinator is a qualified local immunisation nurse.]
Pregnant or breastfeeding? The flu shot is recommended in each pregnancy, at any stage, and while breastfeeding, and more so in pregnancy because flu poses a higher risk. Ask the nurse anything you're unsure about.
65 or over? Corporate Care recommends the enhanced vaccine, which in Australia is government-funded under the National Immunisation Program at your GP or pharmacy. If you'd rather not go, you are welcome to have the standard adult flu vaccine at the clinic. It protects less than the enhanced vaccine, but it is better than no vaccine.
Can't make it? Cancel or change your booking as early as you can using the reschedule or cancel link in your first confirmation email (or reply to that email), and tell [CONTACT NAME AND EMAIL].
Questions? Contact [CONTACT NAME AND EMAIL], or email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
Thanks, [SIGNATURE]
