Book your flu shot at Blooms The Chemist with a voucher

Book a flu vaccination on the Blooms The Chemist corporate booking page, then show your voucher code and photo ID at the pharmacy. Your voucher works at any participating Blooms The Chemist store, anywhere in the country, and only that chain.

Use the voucher code from your downloaded voucher, not your company's promo code. The promo code only downloads a voucher and never works on a pharmacy's booking site.

Steps

  1. Go to the Blooms corporate booking page and enter your suburb or postcode. The service type is Flu Vaccinations.
  2. Choose a store and a time. You can also book in store.
  3. Complete the pre-immunisation screening and consent form after you book.
  4. Wear a t-shirt or sleeveless top so your upper arm is easy to reach.
  5. Arrive 5 minutes early with your voucher code and photo ID. The pharmacist validates your code before the shot.
  6. Stay in the observation area for at least 15 minutes afterwards, and don't drive during that time. Seriously unwell later? Call 000.

Good to know

  • Blooms suggests calling your store ahead to check availability.
  • Your voucher may not cover a high-dose flu vaccine, so check what it says.
  • Your name may be shared with the organisation paying for the service, for verification and payment. Your personal health information stays confidential.
  • Feeling unwell on the day? Call the store so the pharmacist can decide whether to delay.
  • The date that applies is printed on your voucher. To change or cancel, use your booking confirmation as early as you can. A booking you don't turn up to counts as a used voucher.
  • Aged 65 or over? A government-funded flu vaccine is available at your GP or pharmacy, so the voucher doesn't apply. See I'm 65 or over: which flu shot should I have?
