How to use your flu voucher
Your company's promo code only downloads a voucher. To book, use the voucher code printed on that voucher. The promo code never works on a pharmacy's booking site. Your voucher is for you, the employee, and covers one flu vaccination. It works at any participating store of the chain you chose, anywhere in the country, and only that chain. Steps 1. Download your voucher from the link your workplace gave you (usually FluVouchers.com.au). Enter the promo code there and choose your pharmacy chain. The voucher is tied to that chain. 2. Open your chain's booking guide below. The guide shows which stores take vouchers. 3. Book a time, and enter or show your voucher code when the guide says to. Copy and paste it rather than typing. 4. Take your voucher code to the pharmacy, and photo ID if your chain asks for it. Flu voucher problemsMy voucher code isn't working
Check you're using your voucher code, not your company's promo code. The promo code only downloads a voucher from FluVouchers.com.au; the pharmacy needs the code printed on that voucher. If it still fails, check the points below in order. 1. You used the company promo code Your company's promo code won't work on a pharmacy's booking site. Go to FluVouchers.com.au, use the promo code to download a voucher for the pharmacy chain you want, then book with the voucher code on it. 2. Typing error Copy and paste the voucher code instead of typing it. Codes mix capitals and numbers, so O and 0, or I and 1, are easy to mix up. 3. The code is already used Each voucher code works for one booking, for you, the employee. A booking you don't turn up to counts as a used voucher, because we are still charged for it. If you can't make it, cancel through your booking confirmation as early as you can. 4. The voucher has expired Your voucher shows its end date. Most run to 31 August, but some pharmacies finish earlier, and last season's codes never work. If your pharmacy chain has finished for the season, email us and we'll help you find another option. 5. The voucher isn't valid yet Vouchers usually start in the last week of March. Before the start date on your voucher, the code is rejected. 6. Wrong pharmacy Your voucher works at any participating store of the chain you chose, anywhere in the country, and only that chain. A Priceline voucher won't work at Chemist Warehouse, for example. Book through that chain's booking site. Other things that block a voucher - You're eligible for a government-funded flu vaccine. If you're eligible under the National Immunisation Program (NIP), the voucher doesn't apply: you get the government-funded vaccine instead, from a pharmacy or your GP. To check whether you're eligible, ask the pharmacy or see the Australian Government's flu vaccine information. - A state government program covers you. Some states, such as Queensland and Western Australia, have run government-funded flu programs in past seasons. While one covers you, the voucher doesn't apply. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
Your workplace flu clinicBefore your flu shot: what you need to know
Most people can have the flu shot. Booking and consent are online (see Book your workplace flu shot appointment), so bring nothing. Stay 15 minutes afterwards. In Australia, every vaccinator we send is a Registered Nurse with HESA-accredited Nurse Immuniser training. In New Zealand, clinics are run by qualified local immunisation nurses. Tell the nurse if you feel unwell, or if: - You have had anaphylaxis after a flu vaccine or any of its ingredients. This is the only absolute reason not to be vaccinated. - You have had Guillain-BarrΓ© syndrome. Tell the nurse, and say whether it started within 6 weeks of a vaccine. If your first episode was not after a flu vaccine, the AIH says you have an extremely low risk of recurrence and flu vaccination is recommended. If it started within 6 weeks of a vaccine, the AIH says you may have a higher risk of GBS recurrence, so talk through the risks and benefits with your GP before your flu shot. - You are 65 or over. We recommend the enhanced vaccine. In Australia it is government-funded under the National Immunisation Program at your GP or pharmacy. If you'd rather not go, you can have the standard adult flu vaccine at your workplace at no cost to you. It protects you less than the enhanced vaccine, but it is better than no vaccine. Pregnant or breastfeeding? Nothing changes for you: the flu shot is recommended in each pregnancy, at any stage, and while breastfeeding, and more so in pregnancy because you are at higher risk from flu. Ask the nurse anything you're unsure about. What to expect Flu vaccines do not cause influenza. A sore injection site is common (more than 10% of people). Fever or muscle aches (1 to 10%) may last 1 to 2 days. Anaphylaxis is very rare (AIH). Stay at least 15 minutes after your shot, and don't drive during that time. Seriously unwell later? Call 000 (111 in New Zealand). Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au. Sources: AIH influenza chapter, last updated 30/09/2026: pregnancy and breastfeeding, each pregnancy, higher risk in pregnancy, do not cause influenza, injection site reactions, 1 to 10%, 1 to 2 days, 65 and over. AIH after vaccination, last updated 30/09/2026: anaphylaxis very rare, 15 minutes.
Your workplace flu clinicBook your workplace flu shot appointment
Use the online booking link from your workplace. Booking and consent are both online, so you bring nothing on the day. How to book 1. Find the booking link. Your wellbeing or People & Culture team sends it. Can't find it? Ask them. 2. Open the link (or scan the QR code your organiser shares) and choose an appointment time. 3. Complete your consent form online. You answer the health questions now, so there's no paperwork at the clinic. 4. Add the booking to your calendar. You can add it to Apple, Google, Outlook, Outlook.com or Yahoo calendars. On the day - Bring nothing. Wear a top that gives easy access to your upper arm. - Ask the nurse any questions, and tell them if you feel unwell. - Stay 15 minutes after your shot, or as long as the nurse advises, and don't drive during that time. Seriously unwell later? Call 000 (111 in New Zealand). See Before your flu shot: what you need to know. If you can't make your time Cancel or change your booking as early as you can. Your first confirmation email has a reschedule and cancel link. You can also reply to that email or email flu@corporatecare.com.au, and tell your organiser. See Missed your workplace flu clinic? Your options. No booking, or the wrong time If you turn up outside your slot or without a booking, ask the nurse. The nurses carry extra vaccines and can generally fit you in, but there's no guarantee, so booking online is best. Without an online booking, you complete the consent form on the nurse's device before your shot. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au. Flu voucher problemsWhen does my flu voucher expire?
Your voucher's expiry date is printed on it. Programs usually run until 31 August, but some pharmacy partners finish earlier, so check the date before you book. When vouchers start and stop - Start: vouchers usually start working in the last week of March. Before the start date, the pharmacy's booking site will reject the code. - End: programs normally run until 31 August, but some pharmacy partners finish corporate vouchers earlier. Smaller stores sometimes stop before their chain does. We stop offering a pharmacy's vouchers about a week before that pharmacy's end date, so you shouldn't be able to download a voucher the pharmacy can no longer honour. Your workplace may set its own deadline Your company's code can have a download deadline, for example no downloads after the last week of June. If the code won't give you a voucher, ask your wellbeing organiser or People & Culture team whether a deadline has passed. Vouchers don't carry over A voucher is for the season it was downloaded in. Last season's voucher won't work this season, and each voucher is for one person and one booking. If your voucher has expired or your pharmacy has finished Email us. We'll check what your workplace's program still allows and help you find another option. If the problem is the code itself, see My voucher code isn't working. If the pharmacy has stopped offering flu shots, see The pharmacy can't give me my flu shot. Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
Running a flu voucher programOrder flu vouchers for your staff
You can order flu vouchers two ways: pay by card on FluVouchers.com.au, or get a company promo code and we invoice you. Card suits small or one-off orders. A promo code suits several sites or many staff. Price depends on volume and on Australia or New Zealand: request a quote. Pay by card Any quantity, no minimum. Vouchers arrive by email after payment. 1. Go to FluVouchers.com.au and choose the pharmacy partner with stores near your staff. 2. Select Buy on the flu voucher. 3. Say whether it is for you or someone else, and enter how many you need. 4. Enter your name and email, then select Continue. 5. Enter your card details and select Pay with card. Check your email or download the vouchers. Company promo code The code is unique to your company. You or your colleagues use it to download vouchers without paying by card. It is capped at the number of vouchers you ask for, and we can raise the cap the same day on request. We can also set a download deadline, such as no downloads after the last week of June. 1. Email flu@corporatecare.com.au for your code and say how many vouchers you need. 2. On FluVouchers.com.au, choose a pharmacy and select Buy. 3. Enter a name, work email and (optionally) company name, then select Continue. 4. Select Have a promo code? and apply your code. A green message confirms it worked. 5. Download the voucher and follow its instructions to book. Don't enter a card if you have a promo code. Share the code only with staff who need it. Good to know - Corporate flu vouchers are for your company's employees, so adults. Each voucher covers one flu vaccination for one person, and the pharmacy checks on the day that it is suitable for them. You don't need to give us a name for each voucher. - Vouchers usually start working in the last week of March. Dates are printed on the voucher. See When does my flu voucher expire? Still stuck? Email flu@corporatecare.com.au.
